INSTRUCTIONS FOR
USE
Tests must be stored and
used at 50-86oF (10-30oC). Do not
open sealed test pouch until immediately prior to use --
exposure to air damages unused tests. Each pouch
contains one test and one dropper pipette. Do not re-use
either the test or the dropper pipette. Do not use tests
after the expiration date on the package.
1. Collect urine
into a clean container or directly into dropper
pipette.
2. Hold test in a
horizontal position. Using the dropper pipette, dispense
four (4) drops of urine into the sample well.
3. Wait 10
minutes. One or two blue lines will appear in the result
window. If no lines appear, or both lines are very
faint, the test is not valid. In borderline samples,
tests which are negative after 10 minutes may appear positive
after 15 minutes or more. These samples should be
considered negative.
4. Read
result:
If Line 1 is
DARKER than Line 2, the sample is NEGATIVE.
If Line 1 is THE
SAME OR LIGHTER than Line 2, the sample is POSITIVE.
This animal may have illegal levels of drug residue in its
tissues.
5. Tests may be
kept for up to two months as a record. Note: In
borderline samples, negative tests may appear positive after
storage. |
